Program Overview
MYLI’s Postgraduate Entrepreneurship Programme (PEP) is a 16-week fast track world-class entrepreneurship course for people who have entrepreneurial dreams. Whether you intend to start a new business or become a catalyst for innovation within an established firm, PEP provides you with an academic and experiential platform to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become an entrepreneurial leader. This is a “hands-on” program, applied in nature, where the “nuts and bolts” of entrepreneurship is more important than pedantic learning.
PEP is the flagship program of the Morph Entrepreneurship School (MES). It is a highly practical program, designed for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs to nurture their entrepreneurial ambitions and enable them to launch new ventures through a rigorous, purposeful, and highly practical learning experience.
Our Faculty members come from Microsoft, Google, Shell, Flutterwave, Nigerian Breweries, NNPC, Jobberman, Schlumberger, Coca-Cola, PwC, BUA Cement, and other great organizations. Besides pre-recorded courseware, thrice weekly live Zoom sessions, we have 20 hours of classroom engagement comprising of videos, flash cases, challenge assignments, labs, written materials, webinars etc. delivered by a global faculty coordinated by Engr. Efosa Idemudia. Certificates of achievement will be awarded at the end of the programme
PEDAGOGY
The Morph Entrepreneurship School (MES) believes in “Learning by Doing”. Therefore, for PEP, we have adopted a blended pedagogy with a healthy balance of “Thinking– Doing”.
The course distributes 30% of the total time for hybrid classroom teaching, 30% at Start-Up lab and 40% in your own venture. The programme has a variety of “hands-on” activities that are intensive, group-oriented and interactive. These include field trips, business simulations; visits to Start-Up companies, guest Entrepreneur sessions and other off-campus activities. Classroom teaching shall also include case studies on various facets of entrepreneurship.
Who Is It For?
PEP is ideally meant for people interested in pursuing entrepreneurship or assuming leadership positions in innovative organizations. You will often display the restless energy and creative discipline of an inventor, innovator, doer or aspiring entrepreneur with enough passion and hunger to work on ideas to launch new ventures. We believe that such passion comes from thinking, working, and aspiring to solve real-life problems in radically different ways.
Ideally, applicants should have an undergraduate degree from a recognized university with a minimum of five years of proven professional experience. The School also believes that there are several people with proven entrepreneurial experience without proper educational qualifications. Therefore, we are happy to consider such ‘exceptional candidates’ with very strong entrepreneurial instincts/records.
Ask yourself:
- Am I passionate about launching or working for a start-up?
- Would I take a job in a small, high potential firm at 50% market salary and stock?
- Do I love technology, but want to go beyond invention to application and commercialization?
- Am I willing to take risks for a potentially very high return, and then work hard to succeed?
If you answer “yes” to at least 3 of these questions, PEP is for you!
The PEP Advantage
Entrepreneurship is the process of creating something new and building a sustainable venture. It begins with an entrepreneurial mindset. These skills are much in demand by employers who are looking for intrapreneurs and innovators who can provide the next big thing for them.
